A wall, supporting the main public road into Ballycotton, collapsed into a private dwelling, partially closing the road and causing structural damage to the dwelling. A combination of soil nailing and rock anchoring a reinforced concrete wall was the structural solution. The project was complicated by the requirement to maintain the use of the public road and the proximity of the dwelling. |
