An early development of the practice was the formation of a mechanical and electrical services division. The services division can now look back on almost 40 years of services development, and the successful completion of some of the largest and most challenging projects in the South of Ireland.

The range of work undertaken remains as varied and extensive as ever and principal among these are the provision of creative solutions to the health, educational, retail, leisure and housing sectors.

The practice has invested in the qualifications and experience of its staff, regarded as JODA's principle asset. It has also invested in I.T. based equipment for technical calculations, simulations and designs to develop buildings of the future.
