Casey’s Furniture Store was a €12 million project and was completed in April 2005. The new store was to a very high specification and comprised of 3,600 square metres of retail space over two floors with a further 380 square metres of storage space at roof level. The structure comprised of a reinforced concrete flat slab on a grid of 8.0m x 8.8m. Particular features included the design of the structural support for 34 metres of curved full height glazing and the design of the main stairs in stainless steel. |
