Cobh Leisure Centre is a €7 million building consisting of a new 25m long swimming pool, a learner pool, a gym, aerobics studio and associated changing areas, treatment areas and offices.

The roof over the pool is constructed using tied glulaminated timber rafters imported from Austria. Other areas of the roof are supported by pitched steel trusses incorporating a mezzanine floor for plant.

The swimming pool tank itself was designed and coordinated to suit pool filtration pipework layouts, tiling layouts, electrical bonding requirements etc.
