PROJECT DETAILS:

CUH Medical Records building is a single storey building that is designed to accommodate an additional floor in the future.  The building envelope encloses the entire site.  The main entrance to the A&E department runs directly outside 2 external walls of the building.  This access road had to be kept open at all times which limited crainage etc.  Sewers, watermains, ESB and Eircom services were all relocated as part of the works.  The building is a masonry clad structure with a concrete metal deck roof.  The building is supported in CFA piles.  All services and access roads remained in use for the duration of the project.
