Dingle Community School is a purpose built secondary school for 800 pupils. JODA were responsible for the Mechanical and Electrical design. The building is naturally ventilated using motorised dampers and thermostatic intelligent control system. The building management system optimised and control the energy usage throughout the year. Natural daylight is utilised where possible by the use of daylight sensors throughout all rooms and the use of absence detection is also employed, which achieve an overall low energy lighting usage in the building throughout the year.
