This is a seven storey development located in the central business district of Cork. The project involved the renovation of an existing 1970’s building and the construction of a new building on an adjoining site. The structures are steel framed with concrete lift cores providing lateral stability. The building was designed using finite element analysis to model irregular structural forms.
