Since the 1970s JODA have acted in the role of project managers and design team leaders. Initially the commissions were restricted to industrial projects. However, as skills developed and the JODA reputation expanded the scope extended to hospital works, sports centres, educational and other buildings.

Cork City Council has valued JODA with prestigious commissions such as the municipal swimming complexes at Leisureworld Bishopstown and Churchfield Leisure Centre. Extensive clean rooms at Millipore in Carrigtwohill were constructed with JODA in a managing role. The various buildings and extensions at EMC in Ballincollig were project managed by JODA. Bon Secours Hospital in Cork selected JODA as their team leaders in the 1990s, and the practice has managed projects to the value of €30m since then.
