Sheen Falls Lodge Hotel in Kenmare Co. Kerry is a five star hotel development constructed over 2 phases. The building is a 4 storey building founded on rock featuring basements and a swimming pool, which were excavated into rock while the hotel continued to operate.  The structure is load bearing block with pre-cast concrete floors and a prefabricated timber roof.  One of the main problems encountered on the project was the provision of clean water from a lake source and the pumped removal of sewage effluent.
